CLINICAL DIRECTOR • EXPERT WITNESS • SUPERVISOR
Victoria is a highly experienced clinical neuropsychologist and expert witness with over 20 years of experience in both the NHS and private practice.
She specialises in comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, which help clients, families, and professionals understand changes in abilities and mood after a neurological illness or injury.
Victoria has particular expertise in co-occurring conditions, where additional mental health needs or substance use must be taken into account. Her goal is to make assessments accessible and the results meaningful and easy to understand.
In addition to her busy expert witness practice, Victoria has a special interest in the ever-evolving field of mental capacity, where she provides both assessments and training.
She is also an experienced supervisor, and she enjoys supporting aspiring neuropsychologists on their training journey.
ASSOCIATE CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST IN NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
Cara has over 15 years of experience working with people with neurological conditions in a variety of settings, including acute rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and the community.
She specialises in neuropsychological rehabilitation and therapy for individuals with acquired brain injuries and neurodegenerative conditions, as well as providing support to their families and multidisciplinary teams. Her expertise includes rehabilitation for cognitive impairments, assessment and management of behaviours that challenge, and therapy for difficulties associated with adjustment, anger, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Cara also conducts complex capacity and risk assessments and provides comprehensive reports to inform treatment decisions. She provides regular consultancy and training to a range of professionals and is a lecturer and clinical and research supervisor of doctoral trainee Clinical Psychologists.
ASSOCIATE CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST IN NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
Leona has a wide range of experience of working in neuropsychological settings, across a variety of services, including forensic brain injury, community neurorehabilitation, and autism & learning disability services, as well as adult mental health.
She is highly skilled in supporting individuals and their families to navigate the complexities of living with with a range of neurological conditions including stroke, brain injuries, and functional neurological disorders. She also has expertise in providing therapeutic treatment to individuals who have experienced trauma and possible post-traumatic stress.
She has a particular interest in working with people who may display a range of behaviours that are challenging to support and offer systemic support to multidisciplinary teams supporting these individuals Leona is experienced in conducting complex capacity and risk assessments.
